1. Production Introduction
The helipad is a tiled structural system comprised of high-strength aluminum alloy tile modules and H-profiled and U-profiled joints of the same material. The system consists of 147 tile modules, 6 H-profiled bars, 6 U-profiled bars and 36 locating pins. The resulting structure provides a seamless platform of no less than 9900mm x 9900mm in area with smooth surface and even strength, and an ideal solution for supporting take-off, landing, parking and maintenance operations of helicopters in field conditions.
2. Technical Parameters
The system is comprised of 147 tile modules, 6 H-profiled bars, 6 U-profiled bars and 36 locating pins.
Tile module size: 3270mm x 210mm x 31.5mm;
Tile module weight: 14kg;
Helipad weight: 2300kg;
Overall helipad system weight: 2700kg;
Structure size: 9900mm x 9900mm. Expandable to 13 x 13m, 16 x 16m or other sizes as required.
3. Applications
The product is available as a semi-permanent helipad for take-off, landing and relatively prolonged parking of small and medium helicopters in field operations.
4. Features
The rigid features high-strength, salt spray resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, static resistance, and anti-skid performance. Patented anti-skid stripe design is used to avoid slipping of operators. Grooves are provided on the lower surface pressed tightly to the ground to avoid skidding, allowing the structured to be deployed without anchoring or tethering. The system can be assembled and withdrawn by 8 persons within 30 minutes.
5. Applicable Terrain
The helipad is applicable to a terrain with no less than 30mn/m2 of elastic modulus. The terrain can be roughly flat without apparent bumps, such as cropland, grassland, soft and wet paddy field, sandy and muddy field, uncultivated land or ocean beach. The terrain is required to a surface with no more than 5° of longitudinal and latitudinal slope, no more than 50mm of altitude difference within 3m in diameter, and cavity of no more than 300mm in diameter.
